Located on the picturesque Lungomare Sarrabba in Marzamemi, Italy, La Pagoda shines as a delightful pizza restaurant that transcends expectations. Diners rave about the flavorful pizzas and refreshing local dishes, with standout items like pistachio tuna and pistachio spaghetti reaping particular praise. Adam Zach notes the quality service and lovely marina setting, making it ideal for larger groups. Meanwhile, Nadia Freitas emphasizes the exquisite taste and creativity of the local cuisine, despite slightly higher prices, which she believes are justified by the quality.
However, it’s worth noting that pizzas are only served at dinner, as mentioned by S.N., who enjoyed a delightful Sicilian vegetable dish during lunchtime. Based on 647 reviewsLa Pagoda, located by the marina in Marzamemi, is praised for its scenic setting and attentive service, making it a popular spot for both group dinners and casual visits. Customers frequently highlight the quality and flavor of the pizza, particularly noting well-prepared toppings and crust. The menu’s variety extends beyond pizza to include notable seafood and Italian dishes, such as pistachio-infused specialties and Sicilian vegetable options, which receive positive feedback for originality and taste. While the prices are considered somewhat high, many diners find the experience and food quality justify the cost. The restaurant also offers convenient takeaway service and demonstrates genuine care for guests, enhancing its overall appeal.
We sat here for dinner as a group of 12 and the service was very good. The setting by the marina is also pretty. We had pizza here which I can recommend, however we didn’t try the other dishes. The toppings were tasty and the base cooked well. It was reasonably priced also. There are two menus, one for the pizza and one for other dishes so make sure you read both.
A fenomenal place, albeit a bit expensive, which encompasses everything you'd like to find from the local cuisine and Italian kitchen. I personally cannot speak for the pizzas but two plates were eaten: the pistachio tuna and pistachio spaghetti. They were both extraordinary and deserve way more credit for simply existing. Both are in a range of 15-20 euros and are worth every cent as they are, dare I say, the most delicious dishes I've eaten here yet. The atmosphere is also lovely and right next to the ocean, so you can look at the boats and fishes that occasionally jump out of the water. The staff is welcoming and do their best to speak to foreigners, knowing sufficient English to communicate. Totally recommend.
Lunchtime, we came for pizza because that's what the menu showed, but they only serve pizza for dinner for your information. We had a great table closest to the beach and in the end ordered a Sicilian vegetable dish and pork. Both very tasty and filling. The service was from the beginning to the end very attentive, friendly and patient when we tried to explain in semi Italien what we want
The fish was good but kind of small we had a good time we got a umbrella on the beach and just relaxed
We popped in after a day on a boat to get a takeaway as the children were not in the mood to dine in. Great service from the team and they also looked after one of our mobile phones when we left it behind! Thank you for some delicious Calzone. Hope to come back to dine in before we head home.
